If you do have an interest in life insurance, even just a passing one, chances are you have a life insurance policy already in place.

Now ask yourself how many of your friends you’ve discussed life insurance with? The number of people you’ve promoted life insurance to?

I’m willing to bet the number is pretty low.

It’s probably just the way of things – there are better things to talk about, like the latest Netflix series, or a relative who’s expecting. But you may be doing those friends a disservice – after all, if they don’t know about life insurance, how are they going to find out?

Especially your pregnant relative! Surely they deserve to know the protection and security life insurance can offer?

The number of people in the UK who simply don’t know or understand about life insurance is staggering. So many families end up suffering financially in the event of a death – not only are they dealing with the crippling grief that comes with the loss of a loved one, but they are also having to panic about meeting mortgage repayments, or even something as simple as the weekly supermarket shop.

Often that panic has to take centre stage and they are not able to find the time to grieve – something that can lead to psychological damage.
